How To Get Coaching Clients Online

Monday, August 14th, 2006

I have taught quite a few coaches how to get more clients online. The first step for getting more coaching clients is defining your niche, or your target market.

Once you know who your target market is, you have three goals:

- Driving your target market to your web site

- Getting your target market to subscribe to your newsletter

- Keeping in touch and building relationships with your target market using your newsletter. This step will help you turn your newsletter subscribers into clients.

#2 is straightforward - you need to have a prominent newsletter subscribe box on your web site, and encourage your web site visitors to subscribe to your newsletter. The best way to do that is by offering something at no charge (a report, e-book or e-course) as a bonus to subscribers.

#3 can be accomplished by publishing useful, interesting newsletters on a regular basis.

This leaves us with #1, driving your target market to your web site. How can you accomplish that?

Here are a few different ways to do that:

- Online Networking. Network in groups that your target market participates in and mention your newsletter web address in your signature.

- Search Engine Optimization (or SEO). SEO is the process of modifying web page content and meta-information to improve the search engine ranking of the page. Successful search engine optimization will greatly increase the number of visitors that come to your web site since over 70% of people who are looking for products and services use search engines to locate them. Make sure that your web site is optimized for
search engines, so that your target market can find it.

- Business Blogging. Start a blog for your business and update it on a regular basis. A business blog is an excellent tool to toot your own horn, and let your target market know about your business. My business blog drives
newsletter subscribers and clients to my web site every single day.

How To Increase Search Engine Traffic

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

Over 70% of the Internet users use search engines to locate products and services they are interested in. This means that over 70% of your customers use search engines to locate YOUR products and services. Many of my newsletter subscribers and clients have found me using search engines. So if your business web site does not show up on search engines, you are missing out on a lot of valuable exposure.

So how do you get your web site to show up in search engines? This is a two-step process:

Step 1. Optimize your web site for search engines.
Step 2. Get links to your web site from other web sites. Many search engines put emphasis on links to your web site. Search engines assume that your web site has useful information if many other web sites link to yours. This results in better search engine rankings for your site.

Why do search engines place an emphasis on links to your web site when determining your search engine rankings? Since other web site owners are responsible for linking to your web site, it is more difficult for you to manipulate these links. Unless you provide other incentives to do so, no one will link to your web site if they don’t think that your web site provides useful information. Even if you contact people and request to exchange links, many people would ignore your request. Getting links to your web site from quality web sites takes a lot of time, effort and hard work.

But there is a much easier way of getting links to your web site. It is called article marketing. In fact, people will ask whether they can link to you. I get article re-printing requests almost every day. Every time someone re-prints my article, they also include a link back to my web site. You can learn all about using articles to improve your search engine rankings during tomorrow’s Article Marketing for Profits Teleseminar.

Writing articles is a viral way to generate links to your web site. To take full advantage of the viral nature of article marketing, submit your articles to many article directories. Once your articles are listed in the directories, web site and blog publishers will pick them up from the directories and publish them. There is no additional effort required on your part No more begging others to exchange links with you and no more waiting for web sites
to link to you. Once you start writing articles on a regular basis, you will get hundreds of people linking to you. If you search for my name, “Biana Babinsky” in Google, you will see thousands of results. Many of these results come from people reprinting my articles and linking back to my web site.

Tomorrow, during the Article Marketing for Profits Teleseminar I will teach you how to use article marketing to get more clients and sell more products. Here is what you will learn:

- Why article marketing is one of my favorite online marketing techniques, and how I use it to gain clients

- How to leverage your articles to get more search engine traffic

and much, much more.

Top 3 Reasons To Blog

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

A blog is a great tool to promote your expertise, get more people to learn about you and your business, and attract more leads and clients to your business. Here are some of the reasons for you to blog:

- Blogging is a no cost or low cost process. Many people spend a lot of money on advertising their business, while blogging can be no cost (if you already have a web site and can install blogging software on it) or a low cost endeavor. Given such small cost, a blog will pay for itself over and over again very fast, once you know how to use it to your advantage.

- Blogging lets your personality shine through. Because you can be a bit less formal on your blog then you are on your web site, a blog is a great place to show your personality and talk to your readers. Once your readers get to know the real you, they are much more likely to subscribe to your newsletter and consider hiring you.

- Blogging is a great tool for getting leads and clients for your business. Let’s face it - a business owner would use a marketing technique in order to bring in leads and customers for the business. A blog is an excellent way to attract new readers (leads) and convert long time leads into clients.

To learn how to start a blog, or get your existing blog to work for your business, join me tomorrow, June 29th at 2pm Eastern time for the Blogging for Business Teleseminar to learn how to start a blog in under 20 minutes, get more clients with your blog and monetize your blog even further.

Do You Offer Free Gifts?

Thursday, April 27th, 2006

Many business owners selling informational products give away free gifts, or bonuses with purchase. These bonuses are intended to raise the value of the whole package that the customer receives. They are also intended to make the purchase (and the informational products) more attractive to the customer.

How do you make a bonus, or a free gift, attractive to your customers? Here are our recommendations:

- Make your bonus valuable. If everyone else is giving the same product away, chances are the customer already has it, and will not find it that great. Giving away something not given out by other web sites makes you stand out.

- Make a bonus relevant to the product you are selling. “The World’s Tastiest Cookies” cookbook is not a great bonus gift with purchase of ebook on construction. However, it is a great bonus gift with purchase of a stand mixer.

- Ask other business owners to contribute bonuses. Other business owners might want to give something away, so why not take them up on their offers? Sometimes they might even include your affiliate link with their bonus report, thus creating another revenue stream for you.

And here is a bonus gift for you: Top 5 Ways to Increase Your Online Sales Special Report, absolutely free.
