It is hard to believe, but fall is about to start. If you are like many service professionals, then you didn’t do much business in the summer because many of your customers took summer vacations and didn’t buy products or services during the summer.
If many of your customers have taken long summer vacations, your revenue for the months of June, July and August was very low. To catch up, you need to start making money immediately in September.
To start earning more money now without waiting for more long term strategies to kick in, I have created a process that will help you get more sales from your existing web site visitors.
Discover the process to jump-start your sales in the fall during the “How To Increase Your Fall Revenue By Turning More Web Site Visitors Into Customers” Teleseminar.
The teleseminar is only open to members of my members-only online business coaching web site, MarketingSalad.com. Learn how to become a member and attend the teleseminar for just $1 at

This is a question that comes up often with my clients.
Many coaches I know want to help many people that need their help, but can’t afford their one-on-one coaching rates. At the same time, coaches still need to make enough money to pay their mortgage and afford other things that their families need.
So how can you marry the two and come up with a win-win solution for everyone? You should do that by offering products and programs in different price ranges.
There are many people who need help, but can’t afford your services. There are thousands of them out there. If you only work with them one-on-one, you can’t help too many of them and you will not have as much time to work with your regular rate clients, the clients whose fees are helping you pay your mortgage.
Instead of doing that, create programs and products in different price ranges. Here is how:
- Create group coaching calls for people who can’t afford your one-on-one services. More people will be able to afford these and they will still get the benefit of being coached by you.
- Create a membership web site for your customers. I love this, and this is how many of my clients have chosen to work with me. They are members of my members-only web site, http://www.MarketingSalad.com where they have access to my coaching, teleseminars and expertise at a price much lower than my one-on-one coaching.
- Create and teach teleseminars. This is another great way to help more people in a shorter amount of time.
- Write an ebook or create other products, again more lower priced products to help more people.
Your products and teleseminars will enable you to help thousands of people, while still being able to generate revenue.
You can learn how to create products in my Complete Step By Step Information Products Guide available at http://www.avocadoconsulting.com/rlinks/zinfo

Are you thinking about starting a blog to promote your business? There are many places to host it, and here are my recommendations to help you choose the best blogging platform for your business.
If you want to have a blog hosted by someone else, and not by your own web host, try WordPress.com. It is very easy to use and you can set up a blog and start blogging in just a few minutes. However, since the blog will not be hosted on your web site, you will not own all the search engine rankings and other things that will come when you promote your blog.
If you are serious about blogging, and want to use it as a long term strategy to promote yourself and your business, you should get your own blogging software. I recommend getting blogging software from WordPress.org and installing it on your own server. The
software is available FREE and it is easy to install and use.
There are dozens of advantages of having a blog on your own web site:
- You can control everything on your blog, from the marketing aspects to technical aspects
- You can use any template you want and you can create a template that fits your web site, your brand and your image. There are lots of free templates available online as well.
- You own the hosting, so no one can kick you out and shut down your blog one day
- It looks much more professional - when people ask about your blog you can direct them to your own web site address, not some blogging site.
and there are lots more.
For more information on marketing your business with your blog, take a look at my Make Money With Blogging Home Study Guide at http://www.avocadoconsulting.com/rlinks/zbt
In the Home Study Guide I discuss how to market your blog and how to use it to get clients for your business.

Many coaches, consultants and authors want to write an ebook. They work hard on deciding on content, creating the content, getting the ebook edited and putting it all together. Once the ebook is ready, they spend more time deciding which shopping cart to use, and how to accept payment online.
After some time, they put together the ebook and the shopping cart together. Now everything is ready to accept payment and deliver the ebook to the buyers. There is just one problem - there are no buyers.
Having spent all the time and resources on writing the ebook and deciding how to sell it, many coaches, consultants and authors neglect to create a marketing plan for their e-book. As a result, they are not able to sell many ebooks. Don’t be like them, put together an online marketing plan to promote your ebook before you actually launch it.
In order to get the word out about your e-books, you need to drive qualified web traffic to your web site and to the e-books.
Here is how:
- Define your target market - who are the people you want to buy the e-books?
- Start building your newsletter list. Publish your newsletter on a regular basis to keep in touch with your subscribers and provide them with information about the e-books that you sell.
- Use online marketing techniques - search engine optimization, article marketing, your own blog, etc to drive traffic to your web site.
It will not happen overnight, but if you market effectively and consistently, you will get a lot of web site traffic and be able to sell your ebooks.
During the Make Thousands Of Dollars With E-books Teleseminar Series I will discuss exactly how to market your ebooks to make money with them. As a participant, you will also receive my Ebook Marketing Plan Template to help you market your ebook online effectively. You may register for the Teleseminar Series at http://www.avocadoconsulting.com/rlinks/zebookt.

I spent a few days in Las Vegas last week. What really impresses me in Las Vegas is the
uniformity of themes and branding. Every hotel has its own theme, and everything at the hotel - the building itself, the restaurants, the casino, the furniture - is unified under this theme.
Everything that you come in contact with is promoting a particular brand. I have not seen
as much branding anywhere else.
How about you? Is everything in your business uniform and branded with your brand? Do you brand your business every chance you get - on your web site, in your e-books, during your teleseminars?
Do you make sure that you project a consistent brand in your business? Post a comment and let me know what you think!

Hi, everyoneI have designed/re-designed web sites for a while, before starting to work more in online marketing coaching/consulting. I find that it is extremely important that your web site designer understands online marketing and uses this knowledge when designing your web site OR that you understand it yourself and make sure that your designer follows online marketing principles when designing your web site.
There are fabulous web and graphics designers out there, who can do a wonderful job creating a great looking web site. Unfortunately, they do not know much about online marketing, so they do not do anything for search engine optimization, don’t optimize the web site to get the most sign ups/sales, etc.
And there many of these great looking web sites online, but they do not bring in much in terms of what is really important to the web site owner - newsletter sign-ups, sales, etc.
One of the things that I teach my clients is how to create a web site that will actually sell what you have to offer. After following my advice one of my clients tripled her newsletter sign-ups without increasing her web site traffic - sometimes simple web site changes can make a huge difference in the results you are getting.
Every time a client asks me how to work with their web designer, here is what I tell them:
“Your web site is not a showcase of the great design/programming skills of your web designer. It is a place to promote your expertise AND a tool to generate leads and clients for your business. Make sure that you address this with your designer, otherwise you will spend your money on creating a great looking web site that does not sell.”
Need help making your web site actually SELL your products and services? Get a web site evaluation, during which I will discuss with you how to improve your web site to sell more of your products and services.

Many of my clients have asked me for a source of customers that they can tap into every week, month or year. They are very surprised to learn that this source is search engines.
Search engines are the number one resource for consumers to research and buy products or services online. In fact, marketing studies have shown that over 70% of web surfers use search engines to locate online merchants. The ramification of this statistic is simple: if you want to reach the members of your target market you need to make sure that your business web site ranks well in popular search engines.
Search engines are the source of online customers. Every day millions of people use them to locate products and services they want to buy; if they find your web site, they will go to your web site and buy from you.
So how can you use this source of customers to direct the customers to YOU? You can get traffic from search engines by performing search engine optimization (SEO) for your web site. SEO is a crucial online marketing technique. It helps you to get your web site to appear in search engine result pages for keywords that that are relevant to your business. For example, if you are a business coach, and someone is searching for
“business coach”, it would be great for your business if your web site appears in the first 10 results.
Learn all about applying search engine optimization to your web site during my Get Thousands Of Web Site Visitors Using Search Engine Optimization Teleseminar. I will teach you, step-by-step, how to get more web site traffic using search engines.

As an online business coach and consultant, I actively use my own products and techniques to get more clients. Over 95% of my clients have found me online, and quite a few of them found me through online networking.
Online networking is a great activity you can use to build relationships and create partnerships with other business owners.
