How To Evaluate Article Submission Services

When you do article marketing, you may decide to use automatic article submission services, instead of submitting your articles by hand, or paying a virtual assistant to do that.

Here are a few tips I give my clients when they decide to evaluate article submission services:

– Look at the list of directories they submit the articles to. Are those popular directories? Are those the directories you would want to submit your articles to?

You want them to submit to popular directories, directories from which you would receive clicks and re-printings.

– Look at how they would handle your article formatting, including bolding, links, paragraphs, etc. Last year I had a customer who submitted her articles for a while, but
the links in her About Box were formatted like text, not links.

– After you use the article submission services, check each directory for the listing of your article. Use can also use search engines to check that the articles are showing up in the directories, and showing up in search engines as well.

How To Use Search Engines

I am sure you know how to use search engines to find the things you are looking for. You go to your favorite search engine, type what you are looking for, and search for it.

But how do coaches use search engine to make money online? They do that by making sure that their web site shows up on relevant searches. When people are searching for their products and services, their web site shows up in the search, and they earn money by being able to sell their products and services.

You can make your web site appear on relevant searches by using a process called search engine optimization, or SEO. Search engine optimization is the process of modifying web page content and meta-information to improve the search engine ranking of the page. Meta-information includes certain HTML tags (title, heading, emphasized text, keyword and description meta-tags), as well as the internal (links between pages on the same site) and external (links between pages on different sites) link structure of a web site.

Should You Buy A List Or Grow Your Own List?

When people start a business and need to grow their own mailing list, they ask whether they should buy a list or grow their own. I always recommend building your own mailing list instead of buying.

Building a list will take longer, but the people who subscribe to your list will be much more responsive and are more likely to become your customers down the road, which is what you want. Here are some tips to help you grow your list:

Offer something valuable to your new subscribers as a gift to get more subscriptions. This can be a report or an e-book that you wrote.

How To Promote Your Life Coaching Business

How can you promote your life coaching business?

Many people don’t know what a life coach is, so they get confused when you bring up life coaching. You don’t want to confuse your potential clients; rather, you want them to see the benefits of hiring you as soon as you start talking.

When someone asks you what you do, instead of saying that you are a life coach, tell them the most important benefits of hiring you.

For example, you can be a business coach, but when people ask you what you do, you could tell them that you help business owners get more clients and make more money with their business. Everyone understands what it means to get “more clients and more money”, so the people you are talking understand immediately what you are talking about.

In order to promote your business, create a system that will bring leads to your business, that you can turn into clients at a later date.

A coaching service is a big ticket item, and many people will not buy it immediately. However, as you build a relationship with them and they get to know you, it will be much easier for you to sell your services to them. You need to create a marketing funnel – starting with a free item such as your newsletter, continuing with ebooks and seminars, and ending with your coaching service.

I strongly recommend that you create products to sell. In addition to having high ticket coaching, you should also offer teleseminars, ebooks, reports, audio recordings, etc. Many people can’t afford your services, but they will be able to afford your ebooks, teleseminars, and reports, as they are cheaper.

Many people have asked me how to use participation in online groups to their best advantage. I participate in my groups, and I run my own online groups as well.

There are different reasons for why people join online groups. Some join to purely gain information. If that is your reason, you can stay quiet and still gain a lot of insight and information from reading messages.

But, if you join a group to become known by your potential customers, to get more people to know you and to promote your business, you need to participate!

Participate by offering your opinion, answering questions in the field of your expertise and by helping other participants. This is how I usually participate in online networking, and this helped me gain many partners and customers.
