Squeeze Page Tutorial: How To Build Your List With Squeeze Pages

Now that you know what you can use squeeze pages for, how do use them to build your list authentically? How do you invite more people in your target market to check it out? The good news there are a ton of ways to use your squeeze pages to build your list. Here are two examples:

Social Networking and Squeeze Pages. A lot of people ask me how to use social networking web sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, to build their lists. The key here really is to use squeeze pages! You must direct your traffic from Twitter and Facebook to your squeeze pages, and then let your squeeze pages do the job of converting them into newsletter subscribers!

Here is your plan:

- Connect With The Right People. If you want to get results from social networking web sites, then you must use them to connect with people in your target market.

If you are not connecting with people who are in your target market, you will still have fun on social networking web sites, but you won’t see the results you are looking for. And by results I mean being able to invite people who are interested in what you have to offer to join your list.

- Share information, tips and ideas. Sharing tips is the best and simplest way to promote your expertise on social networking web sites. You can share short tips as a status update. To share a longer tip, right a blog post and share it.

- Letting people know what you have to offer. Sharing your offerings in an authentic and thoughtful way is a huge part of social networking. If you share about them too much, many people will tune you out.

On the other hand, if you don’t share about them at all, you are guaranteed that no one will take advantage of your offers. When you share tips and ideas and useful information with your social networking connections, it is perfectly fine to also share information about your newsletter and inviting your connections to subscribe.

Another great way to use your squeeze pages to get more subscribers is by using article marketing. I love using article marketing for list building. It is effective, it works great and you can take it to a whole new level when you use article marketing together with squeeze pages! How do you do that? By inviting people who read your article to check out your squeeze page!

What is article marketing? Article marketing is the process of writing articles that your target market is interested in and then submitting them to article directories to be published. It is extremely important to write articles that are of interest to your target market, because that is another way to qualify your subscribers. When the topics are of interest to your target market, people in your target market will read your articles and finds out more about your newsletter.

When you submit your article to article directories, it will also include a Resource Box. The Resource Box is a one paragraph description of you and your business and a link back to your web site. Make sure that the link that you are including is a link to your squeeze page! Doing this will help you get more newsletter subscribers.

The reason article marketing is so powerful for list building is that you can use your Resource Box to promote your free gift and invite your article readers to go to your squeeze page! And then, your effective squeeze page is going to do the work for you for converting your article reader into newsletter subscriber!

Since your article will be published in article directories and then reprinted on other web sites, in blogs and newsletters, you will be getting the benefit from each article for months and years to come. Use each article wisely and you will be able to get dozens or even hundreds of subscribers from each article that you write.

As you can see, you can much get better results from article marketing and social networking, you can build your list, get more prospects and clients when you use squeeze pages.
