Turn Your Ideas Into Business Revenue

Just in the last month I have had the following happen to me:

- During a coaching session, I worked with a client on a very specific online marketing concept. After we were done, she said to me: "You don't have a product explaining how to do this, but you should!"

- A potential client called me to ask when one of my e-books will be available as an audio product, because he prefers to listen to the material instead of reading it.

- As I was brainstorming about my future products, I came up with five different product ideas. Some I may never develop, but I incorporated others into my long-term business plan.

As you can see, product ideas can come from different places and some of these ideas have the potential to make you a lot of money. Of course, you will not be able to create all these products right away, and some will not be developed at all. But whenever you get recommendations for new products to develop, you should immediately write them down. This will help you immensely when you are creating new products.

Unfortunately, many business owners I know don't keep track of brilliant product ideas that come to them. They try to memorize them instead, but forget all about them only a few minutes after they get the idea.

Don't be like these business owners. Keep track of your product ideas so that you can use them to create products that will make you a lot of money down the road.

Commit to writing all of your promising ideas down. Memorizing ideas is not the best way to store them. We need to keep many different things in our heads, so it's easy to forget a great deal of information that isn't immediately useful.

Create a special file specifically designated to store product ideas. Don't write your product ideas on scraps of paper. Chances are, you already have too many of those on your desk. Instead, create a file on your computer that is solely dedicated to product ideas. This way you will keep product ideas stored neatly in the same place and it will be easy to refer to them whenever you need to.

Include enough detail about your ideas in your product ideas file, so that you can reconstruct the idea at a later date. There is nothing worse than having a great idea for a product, but not writing down enough about to be able to follow up on it later.

Make sure that you write down all the product ideas you generate. This is the first step to creating extremely profitable products.
