More Web Site Visitors and Clients for You At No Cost

Friday, March 31st, 2006

Hi, everyone

I am on a mission to help you get more web site visitors and customers, and it will not cost you a penny!

I have recently released the Business Articles Directory to help coaches, consultants, online business owners and solopreneurs get more web site traffic and clients online. I am already promoting it, but once the number of articles in the Directory reaches 200, I will be putting the promotional
activities for the Directory in high gear.

This means that your articles will be seen by many people and indexed by search engines. This means that your potential customers will read your articles. This means that people will be able to re-print your articles in their newsletters, blogs
and web site
, thus giving you even MORE exposure.

I will be using all of my knowledge of online marketing to promote YOUR articles and YOUR web site links.

Here is what you need to do:

– Create your own account at
https://internationalpractice.com/business/signup.php

– Submit your articles at
https://internationalpractice.com/business/login.php

– Let others know about the Business Articles Directory
at https://www.internationalpractice.com/business

The faster we get to 200 articles, the faster we will be able to promote YOUR articles and get more web site visitors to your web site.

How to Make Money with Affiliate Programs

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

Many people ask me why I am so excited about affiliate programs and affiliate marketing. Well, where else can you make money with inventory, without having to create the product, without having to process product payment or do product fulfillment?

With affiliate programs you can concentrate on one thing – marketing and selling the products, while leaving all the other things to the products’ owners. As an affiliate you can pick and choose your offerings, and you can experiment with lots of different products at a time. After all, since you don’t have to invest in the inventory or payment processing, you can get rid of products and add products that make the most sense to you. You can also create any product combinations to promote on your web site.

This is why affiliate marketing is one of the passive income streams I teach at Marketing Salad. The minimal investment of a web site(or no investment at all, if you already have one) helps you gain understanding of affiliate marketing, without having to invest much of anything upfront.

Create a passive income stream for yourself – join Avocado Consulting affiliate program and earn 40% commissions on every sale. All you do is market and sell – payment processing, fulfillment, customer service is done by AvocadoConsulting.com. Try affiliate marketing – you will be glad you did.

– Technology – ever since I got online, I wanted to know how to use the Internet to do business, how to use it to simplify tasks and how it can be used to make money.

– Marketing – I have always been fascinated with how marketing is used to get a message out.

I combined my interests to make my business what it is today.

Local Internet Marketing

Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

I have worked with clients from many countries. I didn’t target the countries; rather, the clients came to me through online networking, referrals and by finding my articles and my web site online.

However, real estate agents, professional organizers, restaurant owners and many other business owners are looking for clients in a small geographical area. For them I have put together a few ideas for targetting specic geographical locations online for you:

– Do local Search Engine Optimization by using localized keywords. If you are a local, let’s say New York business, you would probably want to optimize your web site for local keyword combinations.

A New York dentist would want to target keywords such as “new york dentist”, etc. You may want to create different sales copy for different locales you want to target. More information about search engine optimization is available in the Step by Step Search Engine Optimization Special Report.

– Use Google Adwords – you can use Adwords to advertise to people in specic states in the US, specific countries outside of the US, etc. Here is a link: https://adwords.google.com

– Find networking forums in the specific countries and participate in them. You may want to find web sites and groups that have a large percentage of people you want to market to, and start networking with them on a regular basis.

How To Use SEO To Make More Money Teleseminar

Not Getting Enough Sales From Your Web Site?

Many online business owners have told me exactly the same thing – they have created a web site on their own (or paid someone to create a web site for them), the web site has been online for a while, but the web site is not generating any sales.

After 1, 3, or even 5 years online, business owners keep paying for web site hosting and maintenance, but they are not making any money with the web site.

You Can Only Make Money If You Have Web Site Traffic

If you don’t have web site traffic, spending money on web site design, hosting and maintenance is a complete waste of money. A web site without traffic is like a store that no one goes to – if no one comes through the doors, no one is buying.

The only way to get sales and make money with your web site is if you have good, targeted traffic coming to your web site every day.

Search Engines Are A Great Source Of Traffic

Reasearch shows, that many people use search engines to do research and make buying decisions. This means that your target customers are using search engines to search for YOUR products and services.

Search engines direct a lot of the buying traffic on the Internet – people use search engines to locate products and services that they need, and search engines send the people to the web sites that sell these products and services.

This means that if your web site has good search engine rankings, search engines will send you a lot of traffic of people looking for your products and services. The more traffic you can get from search engines, the more products and services you can sell, and the more money you can make.

How Can You Increase Search Engine Traffic To Your Web Site?

As you can see, more search engines traffic means more web site visitors who need your products and services. More web site visitors means more sales and more profits for you.

So how can you increase your search engine traffic? You can do that by doing search engine optimization. Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of modifying web site and outside elements in order to bring more search engine traffic that needs your products and services.

Cost Per Click Versus Cost Per Action

Tuesday, March 28th, 2006

When you are an online business, and faced with a choice, would you rather pay cost per action(a fee for every order you receive) versus cost per click(a cost for every click you receive)?

How about both? Both models have their pro’s and con’s:

– Cost per action marketing has been around for a while. It is called affiliate marketing, and it is a great marketing techniques to promote your business, products and services. Take a look at Understanding Affiliate Marketing article on more information on it.

Affiliate marketing is just like hiring online commissions-only sales people. They promote your products, you pay them for every sale they make. I have been using affiliate marketing to promote my own ebooks and reports and my clients’ products – it is a win-win situation for everyone involved. The affiliates get commissions on every sale they refer. Merchants get customers for their products and services.

– Pay per click can be a powerful tool to promote products and services online. There are many different ways of using pay per click marketing, and it works differently for different businesses. I have worked with different clients on using pay per click marketing to promote their products and services.

You need to have a goal for the ad – are you looking for a sale for your widget? An opinion about a new service? Is this a branding campaign? The ad should accomplish this goal and only this goal. Analyze your results and make changes accordingly. This will help notice click fraud, it will help you understand which ads perform better, etc.

Ideas for Your First Business Web Site

Monday, March 27th, 2006

Sometimes I get questions on starting and promoting a web site. I talk to my clients about their web sites every day, and here is what I recommend:

Create a web site that is easy to navigate, easy to use, and easy to buy from. You have just a few seconds to grab your web site visitor’s attention; if they can’t find something on your web site, they will go elsewhere.

Put together a plan to market your web site even before your web site is complete. A web site is a brochure about your business, but you also need traffic to come to it. Start learning about marketing your business online, the marketing part is what will help you drive customers to your web site. Multiple Streams of Income

Friday, March 24th, 2006

Many people ask me if they should create multiple streams of income for themselves and their businesses.

My answer to them is absolutely! Having multiple streams of income is great – my e-books, teleseminars, audio products and reports create great multiple revenue streams, in addition to my coaching and consulting.

As I teach my students, there are only so many hours in the days, so if all you are doing is selling your time for money, you are limiting your income. Also, if you go on vacation or get sick, you can’t work those hours, so you are not getting paid.

Creating products, and selling them in addition to your other work, creates revenue streams that work for you even if you are spending time with your family or go on vacation.

At https://www.MarketingSalad.com I teach members how to create passive revenue streams and make money with them!
