Coaches, are you looking for a plan for building your coaching business? Here is the five-step plan:

1. Decide on The Target Market For Your Coaching Business. If you are not inviting people in your target market to join your list, you are wasting your time. Whenever you are taking action on building your list, make sure you are inviting the people in your target market. That way you will be able to use your list to get more clients!

2. Create Your Free Gift. You must have an effective giveaway to invite people to your list and get results. So now that you know who your target market is, find out the topic that people in your target market are interested in, and create a free gift – an ebook, a special report or an audio recording on that topic. Then, you will be able to give away this free gift to people who subscribe to your newsletter.

3. Create A Squeeze Page – A Page To Giveaway Your Free Gift. This is another very important thing that you must do. I have seen many business owners who had a great giveaway for people signing up for their newsletter, but because the page on which they were giving it away wasn’t effective, they weren’t able to get subscribers.

The reason squeeze pages are so effective for building your list is because squeeze pages have just one goal – their goal is to convert more of your web site visitors into subscribers. Because that is their only goal, every element of a squeeze page helps your web site visitor make the decision to join your list!

4. Invite People To Get Your Free Gift (And Subscribe To Your Newsletter!) Using Social Networking, Article Marketing, Blogging and Other Marketing Methods

Now that you have your squeeze page, you must invite people to it! You can use article marketing, blogging and social networking to do that. There are even more methods to invite people to your squeeze page. But the most important thing here is that you need to make sure that you are reaching people in your target market when you are using those methods – that way you are going to grow your list much faster!

5. Use Your Plan!

So many business owners create a plan, but don’t really follow it. To get results, don’t just create a plan – use it on a regular basis to build your list!
